Straight from the iPhone
HEIC is decoded on our servers, so the photos can come directly from AirDrop, iCloud or a USB cable. No settings to change on the phone, no JPG step.
Upright and sharp
The orientation the camera recorded is applied, so portrait shots stay portrait. Pictures keep their full resolution and are stored as high-quality JPEG inside the PDF.
Location stays private
HEIC files often carry GPS coordinates and camera details. Only the picture goes into the PDF; that metadata is left out.
Convert HEIC photos to PDF: what to expect
Since iOS 11, iPhones save photos as HEIC by default because it takes about half the space of JPG. The catch shows up when you need to send them somewhere: many upload forms, older Windows PCs and office software do not accept HEIC. A PDF is accepted almost everywhere, and several photos in one file are easier to send than a stack of attachments.
A PDF cannot hold HEIC pictures directly, so each photo is decoded and stored as a JPEG at quality 90. At that level the difference is not visible in normal viewing or printing, and the PDF stays a reasonable size. If you need it smaller for an email limit, run the result through Compress PDF.
Typical uses are receipts and invoices for an expense report, signed forms photographed on a desk, IDs for a rental application or pages of a notebook. With “Match each image” every page takes the photo’s proportions; A4 or Letter puts each photo on a printable page with margins.

- Do I need to change my iPhone camera settings?
- No. Keep “High Efficiency” on and upload the HEIC files as they are.
- Can I mix HEIC with JPG or screenshots?
- Yes. HEIC, HEIF, JPG, PNG, TIFF and WebP can all go into the same PDF, in any order.
- What happens to Live Photos?
- The still picture is used. The short video part is not included in the PDF.
- Is the photo location included in the PDF?
- No. GPS coordinates and other camera metadata are not copied into the PDF.
- How many photos can I combine?
- Up to 20 files per job, each up to 100 MB.
