One slide per page
Each slide becomes a landscape page in the slide’s own aspect ratio (16:9 or 4:3).
Fonts embedded
Available fonts are embedded; missing ones are substituted, which is the usual source of small layout shifts.
Static by design
Animations, transitions and embedded video do not exist in PDF. Each slide is captured in its final state.
Convert PowerPoint to PDF: what to expect
Decks are shared far more often than presented. A PDF removes the dependency on PowerPoint or Keynote, prevents accidental edits and opens instantly on phones.
Conversion runs through LibreOffice Impress in a sandbox. Standard layouts, images, charts and text render faithfully. Slides that rely on animation to reveal content show everything at once; export speaker notes separately if you need them.
Fonts are the main variable. Presentations lean on decorative fonts more than documents do, so check title slides after conversion. Embedding fonts in the PPTX before uploading gives the most faithful result.
Questions, answered
- Are animations preserved?
- No. PDF has no animations; each slide shows its final state.
- Are speaker notes included?
- Not in this tool. Slides only.
- What about embedded video?
- The poster frame is shown; the video itself is not embedded.
- Will fonts match?
- If the font is embedded in the PPTX or installed on our servers, yes. Otherwise a substitute is used.
- Can I convert several decks at once?
- One per job for now. Merge the PDFs afterwards if you want one file.
