One image, one page
Each image becomes a page, sized to fit. Choose A4 or Letter with margins, or let the page match the image exactly.
No recompression by default
JPEGs are embedded as they are, so the PDF looks exactly like the originals. PNG transparency is flattened onto white.
Portrait and landscape mixed
Wide images get landscape pages, tall images get portrait pages. Nothing is cropped or stretched.
Convert JPG images to PDF: what to expect
Phones make it easy to photograph paperwork and hard to send it well. Six loose photos in an email are a chore for the recipient; one PDF in the right order is not. This tool does that one thing: it wraps images in pages.
It does not read the text in the images. A photographed invoice becomes a PDF page that looks like the invoice, but the numbers on it are still pixels. If you need searchable or copyable text, that requires OCR, which is a separate capability we will label separately when it ships.
HEIC photos from iPhones are not accepted yet. Convert them to JPG on the device first, or wait until our HEIC decoder passes review; we will not list a format before it works.
Questions, answered
- Will text in images become searchable?
- No. This tool assembles images into pages and does not run OCR. Searchable text needs a separate OCR step.
- Which image formats are supported?
- JPG and PNG at launch. HEIC, WebP and TIFF are listed only after their decoders pass our review.
- Does the PDF lose image quality?
- JPEGs are embedded without recompression. PNGs are stored losslessly. Quality is identical to your originals.
- Can I make the PDF smaller afterwards?
- Yes. Run the result through Compress PDF and choose image compression if size matters more than detail.
- How many images per PDF?
- A per-job count and total size cap applies and will be shown before you start.
