Ranges or single pages
Type page numbers the way you would say them. Overlaps are fine; we validate against the real page count first.
Everything else stays
Remaining pages keep their order, content and links. Bookmarks that pointed to removed pages are dropped.
A new file
You get a fresh PDF. The upload is deleted within an hour like everything else.
Remove pages from a PDF: what to expect
The most common reasons to remove pages are blank pages from double-sided scanning and cover or instruction pages that should not be forwarded. Removing is faster and safer than reassembling a document from parts.
Removing is the mirror of extracting: you say what goes, we keep the rest. If it is easier to describe what stays, use Extract pages instead. Both produce a single PDF.
You cannot remove every page; at least one must remain. If your ranges cover the whole document we stop before running rather than produce an empty file.
Questions, answered
- Can I remove non-consecutive pages?
- Yes. Separate them with commas: 2, 7, 9-11.
- What if I enter a page that does not exist?
- The job is rejected with a clear message before anything is uploaded.
- Is the original changed?
- No. You download a new PDF; the original stays on your device.
- Do form fields on remaining pages still work?
- Yes. Calculations that referenced fields on removed pages may stop working.
- Is there a limit?
- At least one page must remain. Otherwise the usual size and page caps apply.
